Top Mount, Undermount, or Flush Mount — here is how each one works.
Every Lime Stone sink ships ready for all three standard mounting styles used in Indian modular kitchens — the right one depends on your countertop material and the look you want.
The sink drops into a cut-out from above, with its rim resting visibly on the counter surface. It's the simplest of the three to fit, works with almost any countertop material, and is the most common choice for a straightforward install.
The sink is fixed to the underside of the countertop, so the counter edge runs straight into the basin with no visible lip. This needs a solid-surface countertop (like granite or quartz) for proper support, and gives the cleanest, most seamless look of the three.
A middle ground between the other two — the sink sits level with the counter surface instead of above or below it. It keeps a modern, edge-to-edge look while still being a bit more forgiving to fit than a full undermount.
A top mount sink sits on top of the counter cut-out with its rim visible, while an undermount sink is fixed beneath the countertop so the counter edge runs straight into the basin with no visible lip.
Yes — every sink in the Lime Stone range ships ready for Top Mount, Undermount or Flush Mount installation, whichever suits your countertop.
Undermount and flush mount installs require a more precise cut-out and proper support from below, so professional installation is recommended for both. Top mount is the simplest to fit.
